Youth Worker and Connexions Personal Advisorto work with & support existing staff of Nomad Youth & Community Project
Applicants require an appropriate Youth Work/Connexions qualification and must be willing to adhere to the Nomad ethos. Experience in working with the following is desirable: ‘hard to reach’ young people delivery of educational programmes female young people at risk of NEET.
Nomad Youth and Community Project working in partnership with The Henley Schools Partnership requires a Home School Link Worker from September 2008 onwards.
The person will be required to work 15 hours per week during school term and undertake targeted work with children/parents/schools etc addressing specific issues that hinder learning and prevent children fulfilling their full potential The post will initially be for 1 year with a view to continuing it subject to funding. Salary £18,450 - £20,234 pro rata.
