Sue Prior - Nomad Project Manager
Having worked with Nomad since April 2000, I’ve been blessed to see Nomad develop & grow from a team of two, working within the community to its current size. It has been a staggering journey developing relationships with many professionals, children, young people and parents over the years.
I am still every bit as passionate about our work as I was when I first started 10 years ago and am privileged to work alongside a great bunch of people. The team suggested that I tell you that I’m grateful to still have my own hair even if it’s not its original colour – I’m not sure why!!! They keep my feet on the ground as we laugh and cry together. It truly is a team effort.
As a mother I'm big on family & have 3 sons of my own. My husband Dave works voluntarily with Nomad acting as treasurer and putting in many hours of book keeping and accounting. Together we enjoy spending time with our 3 amazing grandchildren – they definitely keep me on my toes and I like to de stress every evening with a crossword and or doing Sudoku. Reading & getting out in the garden are other pleasures.
