As well as managing the day to day running of the project she spends time interfacing with parents and young people supporting them in many and various ways.
Bogusia Macfarlane: Schools Worker
Joined the Nomad team in September 2006 with a specific role as a schools worker. She has a teaching background, but having worked with us as a student has a good knowledge and understanding of the young people she is supporting in school.
Sharon Smithers: Family Support Worker
Joined the Nomad staff team in October 2006. Sharon was originally one of our clients and has been working with us as a volunteer for the last six years. She is known affectionately as the ‘lady with the pink hair’ and makes an enormous contribution to our work with families and children.
Fran Bunkall: Children & Families Worker
Fran is a qualified Social Worker and has experience of working in the statutory sector. She will be supporting the existing work with families and looking to develop programmes and initiatives that will provide further services for those living in Henley and district.
Matt Bunkall: Detached Youth Worker
Matt relates well to young people in a non structured environment and enjoys getting out meeting them on their ‘own turf’. He will also be linking in with Gillotts School, spending some time meeting and supporting young people in the school environment.
Tim Prior: Youth Worker / Connexions PA
Joined the Nomad project in January 2007 and is responsible for developing our youth program and specifically working with and supporting young people currently in NEET.
